Our Story

We've been making salsa and experimenting with recipes for our friends and family in North Texas since 1982. You see, we used to travel the Dallas Fort-Worth Metroplex and sell spices directly to many of the local Mexican food restaurants and developed lots of relationships with the cooks themselves as we often watched it being made. One day we wondered what it would taste like if we decided to create our own.

We never measured out anything and would go by taste and taste alone. Mike took us to the next level with actual measurements and ratios and a recipe that we could reproduce again and again with the same consistency and quality. After a while, our family and friends were begging us to jar it and sell it (especially our dad) so we could share our salsa with the world.

Our dad passed July 4, 2015 and that's when we decided we would take on the challenge of actually making a business out of it in memory of our father who loved our salsa the most! Thirty-three years later, it is now in a jar for all to savor. We originally started with Hot and now have a Medium and a Mild. Soon there will be a Green Salsa and others to come.

We feel we have come up with the best Salsa in a jar.

Remember, Salsa is supposed to be hot, so ours are Mildly Hot, Medium Hot and Hot Hot. From our home to yours! Enjoy!
